
Amber studied at Victoria University and was admitted in 2024. She began her legal career in Whanganui, where she spent two and a half years working for the Crown. During her time at the Crown, she regularly appeared in the District and High Courts, assisting with jury trials and conducting judge alone trials. She also appeared on appeal matters involving bail and sentencing.
Amber is experienced in reviewing and analysing large and complex files for evidential sufficiency and identification of potential defences and issues for trial. She has effective oral advocacy skills and has an empathetic and passionate approach to criminal justice issues.
Outside of work, Amber enjoys keeping fit and watching the Warriors.
